Those of you who frequent my blog may have noticed that I changed up my "a few favorites" list a bit. Well, for about a day, one of the items said "dreaming about my future with Ashley". Just now, I was reading over the list and realized how funny that sounded. Today in English Comp, we discussed misplaced modifiers. (If you are not aware of what these are, ask your mother. If you are a mother and do not know. . . Google it.) So for those wondering . . . No, Ashley and I are not planning a life of spinster-hood together. It is not our futures which are "with" each other, but the dreaming about them. The modifier has been placed correctly now and I ask that you would forgive me, Ms. Kolb. :)

Have you read the book "Eats, shoots & leaves"? It is a rather humorous book about the rules of grammar and the unintended implications caused by its misuse.
Even though I don't naturally enjoy English and grammar, I've been drilled into service among the grammar police! :D
Perfect, except now you spelled Ashley's name wrong.
No I haven't read it, but my English teacher mentioned it in class today. I'd heard of it before though, and it is quite a funny title.
