My Week (in one very long paragraph)

Well it sure has been a busy week. The weekend was lots of fun. . . an English Country Line Dance on Saturday evening, sleepover at Ashley's that night, church at RBC on Sunday morning (I was an adopted Riefer for the day), hanging out with the youth group during the business meeting, and a bonfire that evening. Maggie Hemingway was visiting from Costa Rica for a few days, and we had fun with her. But Sunday night I made a. . . not so wise choice. . . and ended up sick Monday morning. I had to babysit most of that day, because Andy and Zeke both had baseball games. I was pretty exhausted when evening rolled around. Well by Tuesday morning, Abby and I were both feeling pretty miserable, so Mum dragged us into the doctor, and we were both diagnosed with strep. I got home, took my pill, went promptly to bed, and slept for 8 hours, from 10am -6pm. Needless to say, I felt a whole lot better the next day, better enough to go to youth. . . which I was very thankful for, since it was our last official week. Then Thursday, Dad's cousin and his family came into town on their way home from Texas, and spent the night and next morning with us. That was fun. . . they have four kids, so it was go, go, go the whole time! Andy's baseball game Friday night was cancelled, so we had the Nisbett family over for dinner. I am still sore from playing kickball, wiffle ball, and capture the flag all evening! Those boys sure kept me on the run. . . . it was so much fun though. :) But, Mum wasn't feeling the greatest that night so I told her to sleep in, and I set my alarm for 8. . . on a Saturday morning. . . Saturday was spent doing various projects around the house, and making meals for everyone going to and from baseball and soccer games. Then we crashed and watched The Pursuit of Happyness that night. And here we are, a relaxing Sunday afternoon, with no plans except watching Monk at 7. :) This is one of those days that I am so thankful God instituted the Sabbath rest. lol.
Here are a few pictures taken recently. . . Thanks Kelsey for sending me the first three!
